| Description | The article depicts the concept of revolution in the journalistic tractates by the Russian writers L. N. Andreev and A. A. Blok. Blok shares in his tractates the opinion of J. J. Honegger who sees the European culture in a deep crisis. According to Blok only the spontaneous revolution led by masses is able to destroy the untenable civilisation based on individual and establish a new culture based on violent natural spirit of music. On the contrary L. N. Andreevs point of view stresses the necessity to educate masses and not to destroy the basic values of the previous stages of Russian and European society. |
