| Description | In the late-1930s, there rose the tension between Czech and German citizens in Brno. The inhabitants of German nationality demonstrated their increasing self-confidence also by wearing their typical dress – dirndl and leather trousers. Teachers at schools for girls, who dealt with fashion designs, made a lot of models with elements of folk costume origin, especially with embroideries. |
