| Description | The purpose of this monograph is to assess aspects of EDC with an emphasis on Slovak and Czech context. The results of our analysis are confronted with actual foreign research and trends in education education for citizenship. Scientific monograph of authors summarizes the philosophical, political, social and legal aspects of citizenship education. It analyzes the changing attitudes and competence development of teachers in education for citizenship and brings new knowledge of learning strategies in shaping citizenship in school.
