| Description | The main aim of the study is to describe hitherto unknown history of the origins and gradual creation of the art collection of the Academy of Arts in Prague and with the help of contemporary inventories and other archive documents to reconstruct its separate parts, e.g. collections of plaster casts after antique, medieval and early modern sculptures, drawings, prints and photographs and other teaching aids as historical costumes and weapons since the founding of Academy till 1889. |
