| Description | The contribution deals with the historical development of local self-government in the territory of the present-day Czech Republic. There is clearly elaborated the development of municipal, district, regional and provincial self-government from the revolutionary year 1848 up to the present. In the article there are also mentioned legal acts of the self-governing authorities and the issue of the own and delegated competence of the self-government. |
