| Description | The paper was presented at the international conference "Lingue antiche e moderne dai Licei alle Universita" (Dipartimento di Studi Umanistici, Universita di Udine, 23–24 May 2012). The author states that the position of Latin and Ancient Greek in the Czech educational system is not very good; nevertheless, the position of classical studies has recently - at least at universities - somewhat improved. In general, the results achieved are satisfactory, as can be seen at the Department of Classical Studies, Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University. |
