| Description | *Research report 112013. The subject of the research report was to work out a study of expected development of communication technology, services and architectures and its impact on measuring equipment and communication parts of the measurement devices. The expected development had to be crosschecked against known intentions of measurement equipment manufacturers. Wireless technologies based on mobile communications, WIFI and satellite networks were discussed in the first step. Available interfaces between communication service providers and measurement devices in energy network were discussed in the next step. Simulations and performance tests of AGS-DK a ADD-DLMS protocols were performed. More sofisticated methodologies and platforms for communication control like Erlang/OTP were presented. The study contains a proposal for improvements and changes in measurement equipment and its communication components. |
