Description | Pathogens Leptospira interrograns sl, Coxiella burnetii, Francisella tularensis, Toxoplasma gondii are producents hazardous zoonotic diseases that can be transmitted by ticks, hosts or water contaminated with feces reservoir animals, to humans. Reservoir of bacteria can serve small mammals and birds, especially rodents. In this study, we focus on the possible occurrence of specified pathogens in rodents in selected localities of the Czech Republic (Odra, Moravian Karst and Mohelno). The aim is to determine the degree of integration of rodents in the life cycle of pathogens leptospirosis, Q fever, tularemia and toxoplasmosis. |
