Description The exhibition presented the selection of the best artworks from 4 branches of Museum of the Brno Region (Museum of the Podhorácko Region; Museum in Ivančice; Museum in Šlapanice; Museum of Moravian Literature in Rajhrad). Almost 90 paintings, drawings, graphic prints, wooden sculptures, devotional objects and books from the 17th till the beginning of the 19th century were exhibited. Most of the chosen artworks of Moravian Czech, German, Austrian, Flemish, Italian and French provenience were publicly exhibited for the very first time. The most important exhibited artworks included the set of drawings and graphic prints (e.g. portraits by G. Rosa, the apostel cycle according to G. B. Piazetta, the topography of Rome according to G. B. Piranesi, the allegory of Greek mathematicians according to F. Boscarati, vedutas by F. Morghen or a veduta depicting the Vranov monastery created according to J. A. Nevídal's artwork).
