Citation
Description The lecture deals with the legal developments of the so-called Second Czechoslovak Republic (October 1, 1938 - March 14, 1939). The development is compared with the development of the state and law in Fascist Italy and Nazi Germany. There is mentioned the transformation of a unitary state of the fictional Czechoslovak nation into a trialist asymmetric federation. Also the most important then legislation is discussed (e.g. constitutional acts of autonomy of Slovakia and Ruthenia and the enabling constitutional act). Also constitutional institutions are analyzed - parliament, government, president, courts, as well as the authorities of the Autonomous Slovakia and Ruthenia.
