| Description | This paper aims to explore new threats emerging from the looming proliferation of civilian and industrial unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs or drones). This domain is rapidly developing and the extent of their use is growing fast – from delivering cargo to recording videos and monitoring agricultural production or the environment. All the qualities which make them so suitable for performing these tasks also make them susceptible to misuse. Therefore even civilian drones could be used in attacks against human life. The paper examines main types of such attacks and their possible effects. |
