Description The monograph deals with the topic of professional orientation of pupils with mild mental retardation from a teacher’s point of view and also deals with the possibility of use of multimedia study supports to support the further educational process of these pupils. The research is based on a qualitative approach using interviews. The aim of the research was to determine the characteristics of professional orientation and to determine the need of a study support for professional choice of pupils with mild mental retardation. Based on the interpretation of the results, a study support was designed and provided to teachers. The study support was tested and evaluated and a number of changes for the creation of study support in this field were proposed.
