Description Chronic heart failure is a disease with prevalence of 0,5-2,0%%. The treatment consits of pharmacological and nonpharmacological. The pharmacological treatment shoul include blocade of renin angiotensin system (ACE-I or ARB) and beta blockade. Diuretics are recomended in patients with oedema or dyspnoe. Digoxin and anticoagulation are recomended in patients with atrial fibrillation, antiagregation in patients with ischemic heart disease. Nonfarmacological treatment includes implantable defibrilator, biventricular cardiostimulation, surgical treatment and heart transplantation.
