| Description | The pamphlet Terveisiä Lapista by Nils-Aslak Valkeapää consists of different narratives according to the intended reader. The intended reader can be either a member of the indigenous peoples (the Samis), or of the Western civilisation (a Finnish). In the parts of the text, one can experience different types of "intercultural accounts" (the term originates in Harvey Sacks's conversational analysis, and it has been applied for interpretation of longer text). |
