| Description | The standards for teacher education in Germany have been developed on request of The Conference of German Education Ministers (KMK). In Switzerland Standards hab been developed on Universities. Their common declared aim is to enhance the quality of education by means of defining and checking competencies of graduates of teacher education programmes and related evaluations of teacher education. In this context, we analyse the development of this issue from the point of view of researchers who stand outside the system and conclude by comparing the situation with the Czech Republic. |
