Description | Somatotype is one of the basic classifications assess the composition and structure of the body. Somatotype is expressed by three components according to the classical methods of Heat-Carter: a fat component, muscular component, thinness and fragility of bones. Our study focuses on a group of individuals who are on the border between the general population and professional athletes, students and faculty of sports in the Czech Republic and Portugal. By studying somatic traits athletes dealt with and engaged by many authors, almost every sport has been designated an average somatotype somatografu or region in which athletes move. This work seeks to uncover any differences between students sporting faculties from two different European countries, therefore from different socio-cultural environment, which otherwise perceive the need for physical activity as a factor in a healthy physical and mental development of the individual and the role of the teacher or coach in this system. |
