| Description | In the volume we try to examine alternatives of concurrence of the some Czech demonstrative pronouns ten, ta, takový by universal demonstrative pronoun to (Eng. it) if they are used as anaphoric words. The attention is almost focused to the meaning of the Czech demonstrative pronoun to; we would like to find under what textual and contextual conditions the pronoun to can replace the Czech pronouns ten, ta, takový or pronouns ten, ta, takový can replace pronoun to or if Czech pronoun to can be replaced by some adverbs, categorical substantives in the text or what textual condition the pronoun to refers to the sentence or text. We try to find, if the Czech word to can be used as a connector, too. |
