Description The aim of the anti-discrimination law in the field of employment is to prevent damage to human dignity, humiliation and degradation, as well as overcoming prejudices entrepreneurs, managers, employers that do not hinder the efficiency of the labor market. For these reasons, anti-discrimination legislation in the field of employment is at the center of interest of economic analysis. The contribution clarifies the concept of economic analyzes of law in the context of anti-discrimination legislation, represents three views of anti-discrimination legislation represented by representatives of Law & Economics: RA Epstein, A. R. Posner and G. Becker. The analysis of the case law of Czech courts and the practice of the Ombudsman three most common forms of discrimination in the field of employment: discrimination on grounds of sex, age and work disability. Post a key issue is whether the anti-discrimination legislation in the field of the labor market is efficient or not.
