| Description | Department of psychology at the Faculty of Social Studies (Masaryk University) and Psychoterapie journal invite a wide psychotherapeutic community to attend 5th International psychotherapy symposium that will take place on 21-23 May 2015 in Brno. A theme of the upcoming event is: Training and Psychotherapy Education. On Thursday 21 and Friday 22, presentations and panel discussions will take place, on Saturday 23, post-conference workshops are scheduled. Main guests of the meeting are prof. Bernhard Strauss (Institute of Psychosocial Medicine and Psychotherapy, University, Jena), Maria Gilbert (Middlesex University, Integrative and Supervision Department at Metanoia Institute, West London) and Omar Gelo (Sigmund Freud Sigmund Universität, Wien). More than 20 representatives of Czech training institutes will make an appearance. You may look forward to panel discussions about training models, importance and proportionality of self-experience in training, acquisition of skills (teaching competencies to trainees) and further forms of psychotherapy education. All attendants will be welcome to enjoy Czech training institutes' workshops and discussions with authors of posters on psychotherapy education. |
