| Description | This article deals with the theory of evolution and its possible application in the realm of law. In the first part, the author raises the question of whether and to what extent our understanding of evolution can be extended to law and its functioning, as well as its development. Existing doctrinal approaches to the theory of evolution and its application to law are critically examined in this part. Subsequently, the main evolutionary principles applicable to law are identified in order to determine the strong and weak points of European integration in the European Union. |
