| Description | The article points out that a larger coordination of terminology, classification and explanation of the term NÁŘEČÍ (DIALECT)among the school praxis and the dialectological theory is needed. The term NÁŘEČÍ (dialect) is analysed and there are presented the classification of the geographical dialects in accordance with the book Český jazykový atlas. The processes of the developments are discussed that result to the different function of the dialect in contemporary communication and in the stratification of the Czech national language. |
