| Description | Heart transplant care involves possible complications after heart transplantation, eg.: rejection, infection, vasculopathy or adverse effect of immunosuppressive therapy. These comprises: hypertension, hyperlipoproteinemia, diabetes mellitus or more frequent presentation of malignities. Despite this limitation, heart transplantation is a method which improves quality of life and prognosis of patients with previous severe heart failure. |
