Description The Czech Guidelines for Diagnosis and Therapy of Chronic Hepatitis C were made by Viral Hepatitis working groups of the Czech Hepatological Society and the Society of Infectious Diseases. These guidelines are based especially on the recommendations of European Association for the Study of the Liver from April 2015. These recommendations define the preferred approach to resolving of HCV infection problems. Several variants of possible chronic HCV infection therapy are mentioned in this text. This fact is due to rapid development of new antiviral drugs and their unequal introduction into routine practice in particular countries. Accessibility of certain drugs can be a limiting factor of optimal antiviral therapy in particular situation.
