| Description | This book describes the principles of perimetry, emphasizing the most widespread, automated static perimetry. The procedure of performing a visual field test, methods of visual field analysis, and information on the printout with its interpretation are discussed. A separate chapter is devoted to modern perimetry methods such as blue-yellow perimetry, designed especially for early diagnosis of glaucoma. Another part of the book deals with typical visual field changes in various ocular disorders. The book includes an overview of characteristic visual field defects, together with their differential diagnosis and indicated examination methods. |
