| Description | The author of the present article deals with the anthology of the poetic translations of M. Yu. Lermontov into Czech done by a young specialist in Russian studies Jakub Kostelník (M. J. Lermontov: Kříž na skále, Cross on the Rock‚ 2008). He analyzes his selection of Lermontov‘s poems, the methods of translation, the tendencies in poetic perception of Lermontov‘s poems and, at the same time, compares his art of translation also in another translation from Zinaida Hippius with his own Czech poems. |
