| Description | The article concentrates on spatial characteristics given in the connection with the hero of the N. V. Gogol´s story “The Overcoat”. Detailed study of the signals of the opposition down, downwards/up, upwards and open/closed space showed, that the writer uses the spatial characteristics for a negative evaluation of the hero as a passive, aimless man without any strong will. |
