Description | Analysis of student's solutions of non-standard tasks provides a lot of valuable information for the theory and practice of education. In the article the results of a research probe relating to more general issues of metacognition are presented. An attempt was made to determine the level of self-evaluation as part of the process of solving problems in connection with a success rate of solutions of primary school pupils. Tasks were selected from a test of the Klokánek (Ecolier) category of Mathematical Kangaroo competition, designated for pupils of the 4th and 5th grade of elementary school. |
