| Description | The following article intends to describe and sum up the current state of research on history of medieval and early modern towns, especially with regards to the publishing and digitalizating of archival documents led by the archives and the university departments. The second part of the article focuses on the last wills of the burghers of Chrudim as an example of specific use of these specific type of source included with the municipal registers. |
