Description | Counting problems pose for elementary school students one of the most difficult areas of teaching chemistry and science in general. It is a multifactorial phenomenon that corresponds to the current trend of declining numeracy Czech pupils. Given this situation, it is increasingly difficult for teachers to find ways to maintain the level of quality of science teaching in subject areas requiring the use of mathematical tools. The aim of this presentation is to present the results of research comparing the success of students in solving chemical numerical jobs using formulas and using the rule of three. |
