| Description | The talk refers to the functioning of the study group MU Game Studies, which spontaneously arose as an initiative of students of various disciplines at Masaryk University. We discuss in what circumstances we might think about team play and e-learning using examples from our context. In the lectures and during the organization of conferences we are trying to cultivate the discourse of young scientific field of game studies and bring it closer to mainstream society and the media. We propose possible uses of games, so that they benefit people and could be practically involved in the various sectors of society and even for individuals. In our group we are trying to offer an alternative to conventional methods of competition in the form of more efficient and productive team play or cooperative principles in games designed not only for entertainment, training and education, but also for work and creative processes. |
