| Description | Software enabling integration of medical devices with audio-visual output intended for the collection, storage, retrieval and presentation of data for the purpose of expertise consultation, teaching medical students, and acquisition of medical documentation. The integration platform allows storing of video and audio outputs from medical devices into a single data repository, including protection against unauthorized access. SW client-server implements all the functionality of C-MED. SW provides extensive capabilities for working with stored data regardless of the manufacturer of medical devices. Another added value is the possibility of video conferencing (expert consultations) over the image and voice sources. The developed platform also allows greater privacy for patients in medical facilities . The physicians-students may not be present of the procedure, but they can follow the whole procedure in another room or area. SW CxMED was implemented into selected proffesional workplace into trial operation as an integral part of the functional sample. SW CxMED can be implemented also on hardware different from the functional sample. |
