Description Pityriasis rubra pilaris is a rare chronic papulosquamous inflammatory dermatosis of unknown origin and typical hyperkeratocic follicular papules, scaling plagues, palmoplantar hyperkeratosis and erythroderma as a complication. We present a case of 65-year-old women with incipient erythroderma and palmoplantar hyperkaratosis, treated in our dermatovenerological clinic with prednison, retinoids and ultimately with combination of retinoids and anti-TNF biological therapy.
