Description This work describes experiences with implants in nine dogs, one cat, and 58 rabbits between the year 2009 and the present. Implantations in rabbits were the part of the experimental work that monitors electrodes placed in right heart on coagulation profile. Dogs and cats were always clinical patients with indicated permanent cardiac stimulation. Body weight of patients ranges from 2.4 kg to 36 kg.The electrodes were always used with active fixation. All implantations in clinical patients were performed in prime implantation without any complication. In one case of the dog, the electrodes released and subsequently were implanted. In all three cases the pacemaker was changed for end of life. Neither pacemaker pocket infection nor cardiac stimulation failure appeared in clinical patients.
