Description Study deals of using colour transparent overlays as compensatory aid for dyslectic children. To the study 31 dyslectic children of eleven years old were put and 31 non-dyslectic children of eleven years old as control group. A green tint of overlay decreased symptoms of dyslexia the most. On the contrary a yellow tint was used at least. Acceleration of reading with colour overlays occurred in almost 70 % of dyslectic children. Overage improvement with colour overlays was in the case of dyslectic children 7.3 % whereas improvement of nondyslectic group was 4.2 %. Differences of improvement between both groups are 3.1 %.
