| Description | Acceptance of a bill of exchange is a process by which a drawee accepts the bill of exchange usually by signing under the words accepted on face of the bill. Over the years some contentious issues have arisen in connection with acceptance of bill especially when a acceptance is given by another person than drawee. This paper surveys and analyses the consequences of acceptance through a payee or a third person. |
