| Description | Ultrasonography is beneficial for the diagnosis of many pathological conditions of the musculoskeletal system. It is important as well for musculoskeletal tumours. In this article, advantages and disadvantages of ultrasonography, basics of ultrasound imaging of musculoskeletal structures, principles of ultrasound evaluation of musculoskeletal tumours and the possibility of using ultrasound for diagnostics, therapy and observation of patients with musculoskeletal tumours, are discussed. |
