Description | The lecture proposed a critical overview of the research on post-socialist urban planning in Central and Eastern Europe, and suggested reconsidering the narratives of a radical change in practices and ideas in urban planning. It pointed out discursive, institutional, material continuities after 1989, as well as transnational ties that have existed prior to 1989 in this field. |
