Description These guidelines are intended for teacher self-evaluation in the field of environmental education for grades 6 to 9. The aim of this self-evaluation is to provide feedback to schools so that they may improve the quality of their environmental education programs. It is structured in line with the Recommended Expected Outcomes for the Cross-Curricular Subject of Environmental Education, as contained in the Framework Education Program for Elementary Education. The guidelines briefly outline the theoretical basis for each target area, define and explain the assessment categories used in the self-evaluation, and offer a simple point-based school assessment.
