| Description | The monograph deals with highly current issue of early speech therapy intervention in wider perspective. The paper reflects contemporary foreign trends which are planned to be applied in the Czech Republic. These trends include early identification of children with delayed/disrupted speech development, identification of deficits in communication skills development and early stimulation of speech development and language abilities. In the monograph the results of research surveys are stated. The aim of research surveys was to analyse contemporary situation in the field of intervention for children with speech and language skills deficits at an early age from the point of view of interested professionals. The ambition of the monograph is to highlight the need for mutual cooperation and consistency in the recommended procedures for the intervention in these children from the position of paediatricians, speech therapists, phoniatrics, psychologists, preschool educators and other experts if needed. |
