| Description | The paper dealt with migration and its impact on the settlement of several German cities after the Second World War. The historical context of migration, the influence of the war and the forced displacement of Sudeten Germans from Czechoslovakia were emphasized. The questions put in the paper focused on the transformation of the character of German cities by the arrival of a large number of displaced Germans, and how their arrival was perceived by the German public. The paper was based on dissertation theses, which will focus on the integration of the Sudeten Germans in Bavaria after the Second World War. |
