| Description | Our concept of the first publication on this topic in our market provides an overview of rare oncological diseases (solid tumors and haematological diseases) in childhood and adolescents. It is a very wide range of different types of tumors that are sorted by anatomical localization for better orientation. The aim of the authors is to give an overview of the current knowledge, perspectives and direction of research on rare types of tumors in children and adolescents, with which doctors can meet in their practice. The book is intended primarily for pediatric oncologists as well as for oncologists dealing with adult patients who may experience so-called juvenile tumor types or rare childhood cancers that may occur in young adults. |
