Description | Reforms of government and public administrations in the spirit of New Public Management combined with the use of information and communication technologies have brought about many innovations in public service delivery. The goal of this study is to evaluate the demand on innovative public services with implemented information-communication technologies. This evaluation is based on consumer innovativeness measurement concept, which indicates the degree of consumers’ tendency to buy new products, services or brands. The study uses a quantitative approach to investigate the research question and analyses the original collected survey data from own research as a part of project GA16-13119S Performance management in public administration - theory vs. practices in the Czech Republic and other CEE countries. Based on the analysis of the adaptation of the selected projects for electronization of local public services, the study identify the demand on electronic public services and limitations of the implementation of information and communication technologies into the local public service system in Slovak local government. |
