| Description | The purpose of the study is to find out how justified is the widely held view that the Přemyslid dukes did not hesitate to murder or mutilate their relatives. The question then arises as to what standards of behaviour were binding on the members of the ruling family in their struggles for the throne, and what image of these standards is provided by the actual sources. Another question then is how any violence relating to the Přemyslid dynasty was defended or justified and whether any connection between these violence acts and holy days can be traced. |
