Description | The paper focus o art patronage of Olomouc bishop Karl von Liechtenstein-Castelcorn at St. Mortiz Cathedral in kroměříž that play a significant role in the process of constituting his memory within church tradition in Moravia as well as in historiography of Catholic Church. The intentional creation of memory, in which the bishop himself took part, ended up playing a crucial role in following traditions that adopted the main arguments defined by Bishop Karl himself until as late as the 20th century. |
