Description | A person can only learn about the world or themselves by means of reproducing common cultural tools – instruments. Of course, these instruments have their authors (inventors, discoverers), but their inventions and discoveries only make cultural sense through other people who learn to make use of them. A theoretical model will be discussed for interpreting how creative work can be presented, which was used in qualitative research on school instruction. We make use of Goodman’s perspective on notation. The research brought the problem of authenticity and objectivity of instrumentalizing personal experience. We will show that this problem is common to all disciplines that centre on causing subjective changes in intersubjective contexts. |
