| Description | The paper deals with the role of literature mediators (Antonín Brousek and Ludvík Kundera) in the translation of the poems by František Halas. It examines two different translation approaches. Fühmann's translations came out in the GDR in 1970, for Manfred Peter Hein, living in Finland, it was more difficult to find the publisher. In 1979, a modest edition of his great translations was published, and only in 2011 his representative volume of Halas´poems "Töt ich den Schatten der krächzt" appears. |
