Description | Breastfeeding naturally represents the best source of nutrition for new-borns. This work examines answers to some of the questions asked in the questionnaire, what the questioned pregnant women about nutrition of new-borns and where they seek the information. Most pregnant women involved in this survey (40.9 %) are of the opinion that a child should be exclusively breastfed for 6 months and after that a complementary food should be given, which is in concord with dietary recommendations. Similarly, (40.9 %) of respondents think that baby should be breastfed 7-8 times per day and daily intake of fluid is up to 600 ml, which are correct assumptions. The Internet became the most reported source of information. |
