| Description | A method of performing electrophoresis of the gel, characterized by the fact that an electric field having the character of a pseudo-random sequence with a time-stable forward electric field resultant is placed onto the gel. This can be achieved by inserting a pseudo-random electric field into a complete or incomplete two-dimensional or three-dimensional array of electrodes, by generating an electric field by means of a random or pseudo-random magnetic field, by mechanical movement of the gel towards the electric or magnetic field, or any combination of the above-mentioned methods. The invention also includes a device for performing this method. |
