| Description | The aim of the paper is to get acquainted with the use of literary texts in the teaching of communication in Czech as a foreign language, especially at higher degrees of advancement. Emphasis is placed on teaching adult learners. The study is based on the research of communication skills at foreign students at the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University in Brno. The so-called three-phase learning model based on evocation, awareness and reflection is used. It leads to deepening the relationship of these individuals with a different mother tongue to the Czech language, culture and education in general. |
