A skilled laboratory assistant is a helping hand for both forensic practitioners and other forensic workers. His work includes the implementation of special autopsy and preparatory techniques during autopsy, skiagraphic examinations, reconstruction and osteopreparation techniques for identification purposes, casting methods, photographic documentation, care of museum teaching collections, improvement of preparation and preservation methods.
